Cleveland, GA 7/10/09- Jason Hogan along with Hogan Motorsports are proud to announce the formation of the Jason Hogan Motorsports Driver Development program. The new venture in racing for the Cleveland, Georgia based race team will use the knowledge of chassis setup and driving skills it has gained over decades of short track racing to prepare young racers for future success.

The formation comes after the signing of Dalton Grindle, a fifteen-year-old quarter midget standout hailing from the state Georgia, has signed on as the new organizationís first development driver. Dalton is the 2008 region III half midget champion and now competes in the pro late model division at the highly competitive Lanier National Speedway.

ďI went and watched Dalton race a couple of times before approaching them.  I saw a kid with a drive to win and that wasnít scared to get up on the wheel and make things happen. To be only fifteen and relatively inexperienced when it comes to late models Dalton really impressed me behind the wheel as well as his family who has been there to support him every step of the way. We are a family oriented team at Hogan Motorsports and want to keep that in every aspect of our program weather itís me behind the wheel or someone else,Ē stated Hogan.

As part of the program with Grindle, Jason Hogan will provide driver coaching and technique for the youngster as well as serve as crew chief for the #23 Jim Walters Motor Company/ Gainesville Motorsports Chevy Impala on his time off from driving his #92 Hogan Lumber Ford in the ASA Southeast Series. In addition to guidance and support at the track,  Hogan Motorsportsí team of experts will provide setup and technical assistance as well as maintenance and repair work for the up an coming driver in order to give him every possible advantage into developing Dalton into a winning and championship caliber driver.

ďIím excited to be working with Jason and his family; they are some of the nicest people in racing, having them on your side is just such a huge plus because their operation is very family oriented and thatís something that is important to my family. I know working with them is the best opportunity for me because we work so well together. Iím really looking forward to having Jason help me advance my racing career, I know it can lead to great things for us both in the future,Ē stated Grindle.

Hogan Motorsports will also be offering setup consultation, repair work, at track and in shop services to the racing public. Currently Hogan Motorports houses cars and provides setup and at track services for Hole Shot Motorsports and Dalton Grindle Motorsports along with their own Hogan Motorsports team, who currently leads the championship points standings in the ASA Southeast Asphalt Tour, in an 8000 sq ft state of the art facility located in Cleveland, Georgia just thirty minutes north of Lanier National Speedway.
